Fear Itself: Highlighting Horror Novels With Brains & Guts. For the best Indie authors on Amazon, hands down, Fear Itself is the one to read.
I am a writer/ blogger/ book reviewer from Chicago. I attended Columbia College Chicago with a major in fiction writing and a minor in screen writing. I'm currently working on my first novel and just had a short story called "Black Friday" published in an anthology named "A Very Zombie Christmas: An ATZ Special" and one not so short story in "Chronology of the Apocalypse", another anthology by ATZ Publications. My story is called "Restoration".
I created The VanGarde Review in September of 2014 on another site, but moved for more exposer, because almost nothing means more to me than the idea of being able to help other independent authors, like myself to be able to spread the word about their work, and lead hungry readers to material that they may not have found otherwise. Sharing is caring , after all.
I am also looking into branching out and expanding the review to the wide platform of YouTube, time permitting.
The VanGarde Review is more of a recommendation than a review, I only blog about the best books I've read, the equivalent of three stars and above. I don't do well with negativity, and why bother when I can spend my time gushing about spectacular writing?
This site will be constantly developing, because I have no shortage of wonderful ideas and things I want to try, only a shortage of time.
By the way, gold stars are for babies ... I give skulls.
